St Albans is located in the popular area of Fulwood, South Yorkshire. A rear extension and removal of the separating kitchen and dining room wall has allowed the space to be transformed into an open plan kitchen/diner/snug. Elongated windows and a roof lantern has increased the light into the rooms. The bi–folding doors allow for the children to run inside and out
while the parents relax in the snug or are in the kitchen. The design included a recessed cupboard that has sliding doors to close off the washing and utility units when guests are visiting, and a separate WC. With a tight space, the design and thought into the circulation and flow was important to maximise the use and feel of the space
